12 Kalku Street

12 Kalku Street

(our realized project)

12-14 Kalku Street is composed of two different buildings in an extraordinary retail location, overlooking the segment of Kalku Street with the greatest footfall in the entire Riga.

The building at 12-14 Kalku Street was built in 1930 by a project of architect Pauls Mandeļštams (1872 – 1941) as a prestigious retail building. After the building was acquired in 2013, Baltic RE Group carried out extensive renovation and repair works of the whole building, making use of high-quality finishing materials, inter alia rebuilt the top floor, implemented the best possible engineering solutions in electric power supply and use, innovative IT solutions, and redesigned the facade with wide shopfront windows.

The main tenants of the building are Salamander (Armitana), the largest shoe retail chain in the Baltics, Infogram, a world-renowned data visualization company and Scandiweb, one of the largest worldwide IT companies.
